Purchasing Office Coordinator

We are seeking a highly organized Buying and Administration Specialist to support our buying operations. This is a full-time, permanent position that offers career progression opportunities in a well-established business.
This role requires working Monday to Friday, approximately 40 hours per week. The estimated salary for this position is £27,000 - £31,000 per annum, depending on experience.
About the Position- Develop and implement efficient processes for managing purchase requisitions in the ERP System
- Collaborate with suppliers to guarantee timely deliveries and high-quality products
- Coordinate communication between buying office staff, employees, and external partners
- Implement procedures for returning goods and arranging collection with internal customers
- Regularly inspect stock levels of indirect supplies and take corrective action as necessary
- Plan and book travel arrangements for employees
- Source and procure employee clothing and shoes, coordinating payment with department managers and finance teams
- Manage company vehicle leasing agreements
- Compile regular reports for the Purchasing Manager detailing activities and savings
- Ensure compliance with company Health and Safety standards and Quality Procedures
- Prior experience in purchasing or procurement
- Excellent proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel, Word, and Outlook
