About This Role

This is an exciting opportunity to join our Bioresources team as a Maintenance Technician. You'll be responsible for carrying out planned and breakdown maintenance on mechanical assets at various sites around Nottingham, Derby, or Leicester.

As a skilled Maintenance Technician, you'll diagnose and repair complex equipment, ensuring seamless operations and excellent customer service.

You'll work closely with our team to identify and implement improvements, contributing to our goal of delivering exceptional services to our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine and emergency maintenance tasks on mechanical and electrical assets, including fault diagnosis and repair.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement effective maintenance strategies, improving overall efficiency and reducing downtime.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, adhering to industry standards and best practices.
  • Participate in a 24/7 standby rota, ensuring prompt response to emergencies and providing flexibility to meet business needs.
What We're Looking For

We're seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Technician with experience in fault finding, mechanical and electrical systems, and process control. A strong understanding of industrial equipment, including drives, gearboxes, and hydraulic systems, is essential.

Candidates should possess a time-served apprenticeship and relevant certifications, such as NVQ level 3 in mechanical engineering. A basic knowledge of industrial electrical installation requirements and standards is also beneficial.

A Full UK Driving License is required, as this role involves travel to various sites.
