Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and caring individual to join our team as a Care Assistant. As a Care Assistant, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of our clients, providing personalized care and support in their own homes.
About the Role
As a Care Assistant with Home Instead, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality care and support to our clients, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social needs are met. You will work closely with our clients, their families, and our team to develop personalized care plans that cater to their unique requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide person-centered care and support to clients in their own homes
- Assist with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and medication management
- Prepare nutritious meals and snacks for clients
- Engage clients in activities that promote their physical, emotional, and social well-being
- Maintain accurate records of client care and progress
What We Offer
In return for your dedication and hard work, we offer a competitive hourly rate of £13.00 - £14.00 per hour (double on Bank Holidays), mileage paid at 30p - 45p/mile, pension, holiday pay, Blue Light Discount card eligibility, tailored client schedules, paid training, employee assistance programs, and genuine career development opportunities.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need to have the right to work in the UK, be able to commit to regular shifts, and possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Full training will be provided, but previous experience in care or a related field is advantageous.
Estimated Salary Range
The estimated salary range for this position is based on a 37-hour working week and can vary depending on factors such as location, experience, and qualifications.
