Job Overview

The successful candidate will work within a busy call centre environment in the Endoscopy Unit to provide an accurate and prompt administrative function to facilitate the delivery of a professional, efficient, and effective centralized booking service for day case Endoscopy procedures and pre-operative assessment.

Main Duties of the Job

  • Utilize initiative in complex situations to ensure patients are booked in line with Local and National Access Targets.
  • Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team to deliver Access targets and a patient-focused booking service.
  • Provide 'first point of access' administration for all referrals into the Booking team.
  • Act as the first point of contact for all enquiries and referrals into the Endoscopy Unit.
  • Manage referrals, waiting lists, and appointments for all patients using local patient administration systems in a timely manner.

Requirements

  • Ability to work on a rota basis, including weekends.
  • Desirable to speak Welsh, but English and/or Welsh speakers are equally welcome to apply.
