About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Accounting and Financial Reporting Assistant Manager to join our team at Hays Accountancy and Finance. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing expert financial reporting and consolidations services to our corporate and not-for-profit clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Act as the primary point of contact for clients, providing exceptional client service and ensuring their needs are met.
  • Manage a portfolio of corporate and not-for-profit clients, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting and consolidations.
  • Plan and execute assignments in accordance with our firm's standard procedures, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and guidelines.
  • Develop and maintain advanced technical knowledge through ongoing training and professional development.
  • Provide guidance and support to junior team members, ensuring they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their roles effectively.
  • Collaborate with other team members to ensure seamless delivery of services to clients.
Requirements
  • ACA/ACCA/ICAS fully qualified.
  • Strong understanding of UK financial reporting requirements.
  • Experience of complex consolidations.
  • Ability to demonstrate commercial awareness and add value to clients.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Well-developed people management skills.
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills.
  • Good understanding of Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Working knowledge of Corporate Taxation (preferred).
