Job Description

This Academic Support Graduate role is an exciting opportunity for a History Graduate to gain teaching experience and work in a dynamic school environment. As an Academic Support Graduate, you will provide academic support to students and assist the class teacher in planning learning activities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the class teacher in planning learning activities and supervising small groups of students
  • Assist with teaching History at GCSE and mentor students studying History at A-Level
  • Help improve social skills and develop confidence for students
Requirements
  • A minimum of a 2.1 History-related degree from a top UK University
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Able to work well in a team environment
Salary and Benefits

The salary for this role is approximately £28,000 per year, paid weekly on a PAYE basis. Additionally, there are opportunities to earn your QTS through a prestigious teacher training programme.
