Nurse Seekers is seeking a skilled Early Years Leadership Position to join our nursery team near Truro, Cornwall. As a key member of our staff, you will be responsible for leading our early years provision, ensuring high standards of care for children, and managing a small team. This role offers a competitive salary of £24,000 - £32,000 per annum, depending on experience.

This position requires a strong understanding of the EYFS framework, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with others. You will be responsible for implementing activities that promote children's development, building relationships with the team, children, and parents, and maintaining records of children's progress. Additionally, you will participate in out-of-hours activities such as training and staff meetings. Our nursery provides a friendly team environment and a caring manager who recognizes and appreciates the hard work of their staff. If you are a motivated and experienced individual passionate about working with children, this could be the ideal role for you.

The successful candidate will have:
  • A deep understanding of the EYFS framework and its application in nursery settings.
  • Excellent leadership skills, including the ability to manage a small team and ensure high standards of care.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to build relationships with the team, children, and parents.
  • Ability to maintain accurate records of children's progress and learning journeys.
