About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Simulation and Modelling Group Leader to join our scientific engineering / manufacturing business. As a Simulation and Modelling Group Leader, you will be accountable for balancing the demands of customers and stakeholders, ensuring the seamless integration of simulations into our active programmes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead a diverse set of challenges, spanning individual project needs, departmental objectives, and international arena
  • Manage a hardworking and skilled team eager to follow your lead
  • Champion the growth and development of your team's talents
  • Ensure the integration of simulations into our active programmes

Requirements

  • Proven understanding of modelling and simulation techniques, and the importance of applying these within the engineering lifecycle
  • Appreciation of Simulink toolset is beneficial
  • Confident to work in an environment with changing priorities/demands and an ability to formulate responses
  • Proficient in stakeholder management and a wider ability to communicate at both technical and strategic levels
  • A mind-set that is able to identify areas of improvement within project and department activities that can improve outputs or remove inefficiencies
  • Effective interpersonal skills
