Job Title: Used Car Sales Manager

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Used Car Sales Manager to join our team at Purely Automotive Recruitment Ltd. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for driving sales performance and delivering exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and oversee all aspects of the Used Car Sales Department, including purchasing vehicles and stock management.
  • Drive the sales performance of the Used Car Sales Team to deliver the required volume levels on a monthly basis.
  • Mentor, develop, and motivate the Used Car Sales Team, retaining talent within the business.
  • Develop and implement effective sales strategies to maximize profitability.
  • Ensure all legal requirements of FCA and GDPR regulations are met.
  • Monitor and evaluate customer needs and competitor activity.
  • Meet customers on handover to thank them for their business.
  • Achieve monthly budgets and associated KPIs.
  • Monthly performance and development reviews with sales team.
Requirements:
  • Drive and determination to achieve sales targets.
  • Sound knowledge of financial controls and procedures.
  • Excellent communication, organisation, and diary management skills.
  • A confident and determined approach.
  • Resilience with determination and persistence.
  • A high degree of self-motivation and drive.
  • The ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • High standard of admin and paperwork skills.
