As a Sales Consultant for Automotive Retail, your role will be to work closely with the Product Specialist to ensure a seamless customer buying experience. The Product Specialist will highlight the car's performance and key features, and your task will be to discuss purchasing arrangements and ensure the customer is happy with their vehicle of choice.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Understanding and adapting to the customer's buying strategy and encouraging them to experience the product through test drives.
  • Agreeing price and payment methods, including advising on financing options, while working within company guidelines.
  • Ensuring each delivery is followed up with a personal phone call to check the customer's satisfaction and maintain contact to build relationships and future business.
  • Planning and organizing daily sales activities, such as telephoning sales prospects to obtain new business.
  • Working alongside colleagues and other departments to ensure a seamless service to customers.
  • Positively participating in training and development opportunities to assist the company in achieving its aims and objectives.

  • Able to react positively to organizational and market changes.
  • IT literacy (PC, Microsoft, and web) and a full UK driving license.
