About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Site Manager to join our Construction team at Churchill Retirement Living Ltd.

As a Site Manager, you will be responsible for managing the entire construction cycle, ensuring all deadlines are met and the development is built to Company and NHBC standards.

You will be based on site and report to the Construction Director/Regional Managing Director, successfully managing all aspects of the building site, including health and safety issues, trades and material coordination, site presentation, and cost control.

This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires a strong background in construction management, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work under pressure.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the construction cycle, ensuring all deadlines are met and the development is built to Company and NHBC standards.
  • Oversee health and safety issues, trades, and material coordination, site presentation, and cost control.
  • Report to the Construction Director/Regional Managing Director and provide regular updates on site progress.
  • Supervise all onsite staff and ensure they are working safely and efficiently.
  • Coordinate with external suppliers, specialists, and in-house teams to achieve critical objectives.

Requirements:

  • Black or white CSCS card.
  • Qualified to NVQ Level 3 or 4 in Site Management, preferably on the NHBC Site Manager Accreditation programme.
  • Sound knowledge of Health and Safety Legislation.
  • Qualified First Aider at Work.
  • Assertive and calm under pressure, with excellent communication skills.
