Candidates with experience in a COMAH environment and safety case development or maintenance in a high hazard industry, ideally chemical sector as well as experience in Hazard Analysis, are encouraged to apply for this role.

The successful candidate will have a degree in Chemical Engineering and be committed to working towards Chartered status. They should be able to provide leadership and technical assistance on process safety issues and act as the local expert for process safety activities.

This is an excellent opportunity for those who are passionate about promoting Process Safety Management internally in line with legal requirements and internal engineering standards. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills and be able to lead the development and implementation of internal process safety policies and procedures to meet the COMAH regulations requirements and site PSM program.

The salary for this position is around £55,000 - £70,000 depending on experience and qualifications.
