Our team at Blackpool's leading provider of School Meals is looking for a reliable and hardworking Catering Assistant to join us. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality school meals to our pupils.

The ideal candidate will have a strong passion for food and a commitment to providing an excellent service to our local community. You will be responsible for assisting in the preparation and delivery of school meals, maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen and dining areas, and providing excellent customer service to pupils, staff, and visitors.

This is an excellent opportunity to work with a dynamic and expanding operation at Westcliff Primary School, where we employ over 150 dedicated local staff. We offer a competitive salary of £23,656 per annum (pro rata for part-time hours and term time only), as well as ongoing training and development opportunities.

Key responsibilities include:

  • To assist in the preparation and delivery of school meals
  • To maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen and dining areas
  • To provide excellent customer service to pupils, staff, and visitors
