Job Description

OD Group, a leading office interiors company based in the City of London, is seeking a talented and ambitious Senior Construction Project Coordinator to join its traditional arm, OD Interiors. The successful candidate will be responsible for securing and delivering projects as part of the Majors Plus team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide pre-construction stage assistance to the Contracts Manager/Project Manager in procurement, programme, and site establishment processes.
  • Monitor and advise on modifications to the overall Construction Programme, including remedial action to time loss and effective reporting.
  • Maintain site presentation in accordance with OdGroup's 'Site Lines' branding requirements, including Health, Safety, and Welfare.
  • Develop a solid understanding of project Administration to ensure accurate document management and record keeping.
  • Occasionally attend design review meetings for specific trades/areas to ensure buildability and coordination.
  • Liaise with the Project TSM to ensure site installation of MEP works meets the agreed standard.
  • Manage Supply Chain meetings focusing on programme, progress, quality, Health & Safety, and adherence to OdGroup procedures.
  • Assist in managing external liaison with clients, consultants, and 3rd party inspectors.

Personal Specification - Experience and Management

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • The ability to learn from those in the OdProject Team.
  • A developing management style and understanding of the fit-out process.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills to represent OdGroup at a high level.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and basic knowledge of ASAT Power Project.
  • Basic to intermediate to advanced Health and Safety knowledge (SMSTS minimum).
  • Experience in delivering projects safely, on time, and on budget.
  • An understanding of Commercial activities to appreciate cost and value and maximize potential.
  • The ability to develop and maintain relationships with Supply Chain and OdProject Team.
  • A process-driven approach to ensure compliance with ISO management systems.
  • A confident, knowledgeable, and articulate personality to engage with clients and staff.
  • Excellent communication skills to interact with clients, design teams, internal teams, and supply chain.
  • An organized and structured working style.
