As a Youth Risk Prevention Specialist with the Spencer Clarke Group in Merton, London, you will play a crucial role in supporting vulnerable children and young people at risk of going missing or experiencing exploitation. This position requires a deep understanding of safeguarding processes and procedures, as well as experience working with service areas such as substance misuse treatment, child exploitation, or missing from home.

The estimated salary for this role is £20-£25 per hour, depending on experience. You will work closely with referring agencies to ensure effective referrals and provide consultation, information, training, and presentations to partners and stakeholders. Key responsibilities include managing a caseload of children and young people, undertaking Return Home Interviews, and developing relationships with key partners.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage a caseload of children and young people referred by means of effective assessment and care planning.
  • Undertake Return Home Interviews for missing C&YP when required.
  • Develop and sustain relationships with referring agencies, identifying and overcoming any barriers to engagement, and ensuring appropriate referrals are received.
