Job Description

Fujitsu is seeking a skilled researcher to join its Converging Technologies Research Group, working on the Social Digital Twin (SDT) project. The SDT develops solutions to social issues by integrating large-scale data with knowledge from various fields.

The ideal candidate will have experience in simulating complex systems and understanding software engineering principles. Proficiency in object-oriented programming languages and cloud development environments, such as AWS or Azure, is essential. A track record of writing academic publications and excellent communication skills are also required.

This role involves evaluating requirements for SDT applications, identifying suitable technologies and data, designing and implementing proofs of concept or prototype systems, acquiring domain knowledge of SDT application areas, and generating IP and publishing work in top academic conferences and journals.

We estimate the salary range for this position to be approximately £45,000 - £60,000 per annum, depending on experience.
