European Transportation Account Manager

Our freight forwarding client is a leading provider of European logistics services, operating across the UK and Europe.
We are currently seeking an Internal Sales Executive to join our Freight team at our St Albans office. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for maximising sales from our clients, building strong relationships and communicating effectively to drive business growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- To develop and execute sales strategies to increase revenue and market share.
- To build and maintain strong relationships with clients and prospects, identifying opportunities to grow our business together.
- To negotiate with clients and suppliers to secure the best possible outcomes.
- To communicate effectively with clients, addressing their needs and concerns to deliver exceptional customer service.
- To work closely with the sales team to achieve targets and meet performance expectations.
Requirements:
- A proven track record in internal sales or a related field.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong organisational and time management skills.
- Ability to work to targets and meet performance expectations.
