Job Title: Senior Software Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Engineer to join our Technology team at SThree. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for leading the development of our enterprise systems and ensuring they meet the highest standards of quality and reliability.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Direct the definition, implementation, and continual improvement of SThree's enterprise systems.
  • Plan and lead software construction activities, adapting or developing organisational capabilities while driving adoption and adherence to policies and standards.
  • Oversee the resourcing of systems development, taking full responsibility for the provision of IT resources and advising on requirements for client/user resources.
  • Develop and maintain SThree's systems development standards, policies, methods, procedures, and guidelines for software construction, configuration, and refactoring.
  • Manage existing software process improvement approaches and/or develop new approaches to achieving improvement.
  • Ensure that systems and procedures for monitoring and reporting on the progress of systems development projects are in place and operated effectively.
  • Support PMO with portfolio governance and management, reporting on development activities and supporting preparation of performance management artefacts.
Requirements:
  • Education to bachelor's degree level, with a relevant professional qualification and/or postgraduate qualification.
  • At least 7 years' experience in Software Engineering, solution design, product development across the entire SLDC and operational phases.
  • BCS International Diploma in Solution Development or Chartered IT Professional (CITP) certification.
