Job Overview

The successful candidate will be working as a Clinical Research Fellow in the cardiac department of Manchester University NHS Foundation Trust, with a focus on TAVI (Transcatheter Aortic Valve Implantation) procedures. Responsibilities

The main responsibilities of this role include:

  • Working closely with consultant cardiologists and surgeons to perform TAVI procedures and provide high-quality patient care.
  • Assisting in the development and implementation of new clinical trials and research projects within the department.
  • Maintaining accurate records and reporting results to senior clinicians and researchers.
  • Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care and outcomes.
Requirements

To be considered for this role, candidates must have:

  • A relevant primary medical qualification (e.g. MBChB) and current registration with the GMC.
  • A minimum of 4 years' experience in general cardiology at Middle Grade level.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team.
  • A keen interest in clinical research and a desire to contribute to the development of new treatments and therapies.
Salary and Benefits

This is a full-time position, offering a competitive salary of £85,000 - 105,000 per annum, depending on experience. Additionally, you will receive a comprehensive benefits package, including pension scheme, life insurance, and paid annual leave.
