About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Cardiovascular Interventionist to join our team, specializing in TAVI procedures. This is an exceptional opportunity for a medical professional to develop their expertise and contribute to the advancement of cardiovascular medicine.

The successful candidate will work closely with our team of consultant cardiologists and surgeons, performing complex TAVI procedures and providing high-quality patient care. You will also have the opportunity to assist in the development and implementation of new clinical trials and research projects.

Key Responsibilities

The key responsibilities of this role include:

  • Performing TAVI procedures under the supervision of consultant cardiologists and surgeons.
  • Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care and outcomes.
  • Developing and implementing new clinical trials and research projects.
  • Providing educational support to junior medical staff and students.
Person Specification

To be considered for this role, candidates must have:

  • A relevant primary medical qualification (e.g. MBChB) and current registration with the GMC.
  • A minimum of 4 years' experience in general cardiology at Middle Grade level.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team.
  • A keen interest in cardiovascular intervention and a desire to contribute to the advancement of this field.
Estimated Salary

The estimated salary for this role is £85,000 - 105,000 per annum, depending on experience. This includes a comprehensive benefits package, including pension scheme, life insurance, and paid annual leave.
