**About the Role**

We are seeking a highly qualified Environmental Health Officer/Food and Safety Officer to join our dynamic team at East Suffolk Council. As a key member of our Food and Safety Team, you will be responsible for delivering a wide range of regulatory and advisory activities covering food safety, occupational health and safety, infectious disease control, skin piercing registration, and port health.

The successful candidate will possess a detailed knowledge of legislation, codes of practice, and associated guidance, with the ability to use initiative, investigate, make sound judgments, and undertake risk-based proportionate interventions.
