Job Overview:

RWE Renewables UK Management Ltd. offers a motivated individual the opportunity to begin a career in renewable energy as an Apprentice Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) Advisor. This 2-year apprenticeship scheme enables selected candidates to develop into a health, safety, and environment professional working within the offshore wind sector.

Key responsibilities include providing independent, expert advice on HSE matters, ensuring compliance with legal and business requirements. You will also promote HSE culture through leadership, team engagement, and contractor management. Additionally, you will identify, mitigate, and monitor risks while fostering a robust incident and near-miss reporting culture.

The ideal candidate will have a good understanding of health and safety procedures and protocols. They should also have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and be able to build effective working relationships with stakeholders at all levels.

The role offers a competitive salary of £23,700 per annum, and successful completion of the apprenticeship results in the achievement of Institute of Occupational Safety and Health (IOSH) Technical Member status criteria and a Level 3 Safety Health and Environment Technician NVQ.
