We are seeking a reliable and enthusiastic Cover Supervisor to join our team at Teaching Personnel. As a Cover Supervisor, you will be responsible for delivering pre-set lessons to classes, taking class registers, managing challenging behavior, and ensuring student wellbeing.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver pre-set lessons to classes, promoting a positive and engaging learning environment
  • Take class registers at the beginning of every lesson, ensuring accurate attendance records
  • Manage challenging behavior in class, using effective strategies to maintain a safe and respectful atmosphere
  • Safeguard and ensure student wellbeing, providing support and guidance as needed
  • Communicate with line-management in school, maintaining open and effective relationships
Requirements:
  • Minimum 5 GCSEs in core subjects, demonstrating a strong foundation in education
  • Enthusiasm for learning, with a passion for supporting students in their academic journey
  • No formal educational qualifications required, as we value experience and skills over traditional qualifications
  • Enhanced DBS available on the Update Service, ensuring a safe and secure working environment
  • Valid registration with the EWC, demonstrating a commitment to education and child protection
