About the Role

As a Financial Manager at London Paramount Care, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the financial well-being of our organisation. Your expertise will help us create environments where our clients feel valued, supported, and empowered to thrive.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee outsourced bookkeeping services and maintain accounting records.
  • Manage day-to-day financial operations, including invoicing, credit control, petty cash audits, and payroll reconciliation.
  • Prepare and deliver monthly Profit & Loss Accounts and Balance Sheets, and ensure full reconciliations between the general ledger and subsidiary ledgers.
  • Use data analytics to assess staff efficiency, and compliance, and identify potential fraud.
  • Conduct quarterly profitability and expense checks across each home.
  • Ensure strict implementation of internal controls, focusing on accurate invoicing, cash management, supplier contracts, and travel expenses.
  • Facilitate the annual external audit process.

What We Are Looking For

  • A qualified accountant holding ACCA or equivalent with at least 5 years experience.
  • Previous experience with Big 4 auditing would be advantageous.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with a track record of overseeing performance.
  • Proficiency in accounting systems and Microsoft Office.
  • Excellent knowledge of IFRS and FRS 101.
  • Strong attention to detail, and a strong analytical mindset, with the ability to problem-solve with commercial insight.
  • A self-starter who can work independently and thrives in a multi-cultural environment.
