Facilities Operations Manager

At Hudson Shribman, we are seeking an experienced Assistant Facilities professional to join our team. As an Assistant Facilities, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing daily operations within the department, ensuring the seamless execution of planned and reactive tasks while prioritizing safety, compliance, cost impact, productivity, and other essential facets of the department's functions.
Main Responsibilities:- Operational Oversight: Supervise and coordinate day-to-day operations in alignment with organizational goals and standards, ensuring that all planned and reactive work is conducted efficiently and effectively, prioritizing safety as the foremost concern.
- Safety & Compliance: Uphold and enforce safety protocols and standards, fostering a culture of safety awareness among the team, and collaborate with relevant authorities to ensure compliance with industry-specific regulations and guidelines.
- Budget Management: Assist in the formulation and management of the departmental budget, monitoring expenditures and identifying areas for cost savings without compromising on operational efficiency or safety.
- Team Leadership & Development: Provide guidance and support to the team, fostering a cohesive and productive work environment, conduct performance evaluations, and provide constructive feedback to enhance individual and team performance.
- Proven experience in a managerial, leadership, or supervisory role, preferably in a maintenance or facilities environment.
- Strong understanding of safety standards, compliance regulations, and budget management.
- Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks effectively and make sound decisions under pressure.
