Senior Care Assistant Role
We are seeking a Senior Care Assistant to work in our care home in Hoddesdon, supporting our residents with their personal care needs while promoting independence.
Key responsibilities include:
Conducting Handovers: Ensuring accountability for all residents at the start and end of shifts.
Training and Development: Supporting the training and development of all staff, implementing and monitoring our in-house training program to a high standard.
Personal Care and Environment: Supporting residents with all aspects of personal care, maintaining and promoting independence, and ensuring residents use the environment according to their care plan and understand the Mobile Care Monitoring System (MCM).
Night Shift Duties: Performing care duties or assisting with cleaning duties during the entire night shift, conducting regular checks throughout the night for each resident's individual needs.
Requirements include a minimum of NVQ Level 2, working towards NVQ Level 3 or above, and competitive rates of pay, including ~£00 hourly rate enhancement for working contracted hours.
