Mechanical Design Engineer

At G3 Systems, we are seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Design Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our design team, you will be responsible for designing and developing mechanical systems and components for our clients.
Key Responsibilities:- Design and develop mechanical systems and components using Autodesk Inventor and AutoCAD.
- Perform Finite Element Analysis (FEA) to ensure the integrity and performance of mechanical systems.
- Produce and review engineering drawings and technical documentation.
- Develop bills of materials (BoMs) and manufacturing and integration packages.
- Provide technical support during production and integration.
- Assist in the preparation of technical tenders and budgets.
- Manage and liaise with suppliers and manufacturers.
- Lead and participate in internal and external design review meetings.
- Degree or equivalent in mechanical engineering with at least 3 years' post-qualification experience in a design environment.
- Previous experience of integration of multiple services within containerised or modular builds advantageous.
- Proficient in the use of Autodesk Inventor and AutoCAD.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Ability to perform engineering calculations and read and understand engineering plans and details.
- Excellent technical understanding of engineering principles and working knowledge of BS/ISO Standards.
