Job Title: Learning Coach

ROLE PURPOSE

Our Clients are seeking a Tutor who will be responsible for coaching, mentoring, tutoring, and assessing students on the Bus and Coach - Level 3 Standard. The Tutor will support the apprentices to develop their knowledge, skills, and behaviours that are required to be demonstrated within the apprenticeship.

This will consist of coaching and mentoring sessions, knowledge delivery through teaching sessions that will be run at their classroom and workshops in Perivale. You will be required to teach in both the classroom and the workshop environment, complete guidance, and mock end-point assessments to ensure that apprenticeships are ready for the independent assessment at the end of their apprenticeship.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Fulfil teaching commitments which will consist of both classroom and workshop environment.
  2. Manage and maintain a caseload of learners as agreed with your line manager and carry out regular learner interventions.
  3. Ensure evidence for learning, achievement, funding, and Ofsted is captured effectively and timely including:
  • 20% OJT requirements are fully met and recorded as per procedure.
  • Learners achieve the highest grade in EPA they are capable of.
  • Progress.
Individualised learning programmes, agreed with employer and learner based on initial assessments and including Maths and English.Engage the learner's line manager, making clear their responsibilities and working collaboratively to provide support, guidance, and resources.
