Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Mechanical and Electrical Estimator to join our team at Ganymede Solutions. As a key member of our framework delivery team, you will work closely with clients and other team members to deliver value for money solutions for mechanical and electrical elements of work.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop solutions and prices for projects on our Capital Delivery Framework
  • Input into all aspects of the pre-construction phase of projects, including early contractor involvement
  • Consider site safety, health, quality, and environmental issues
  • Identify risks and opportunities
  • Ascertain preliminary and detailed project requirements and solutions
  • Coordinate and liaise with suppliers, specialist sub-contractors, and in-house resources
  • Prepare estimate cost, material cost analysis, and supply chain comparison spreadsheets
  • Compile and collate final submission documentation and data sheets

Requirements:

  • Proven track record of successfully delivering tenders/pricing of varying size/complexity in the water industry
  • Ability to manage a portfolio of projects in a framework environment
  • Excellent organisational and planning skills
  • Good understanding of client requirements and general commercial awareness
  • Experience of the pre-construction phase of projects to quickly identify risks and opportunities
  • Competence in using various IT packages, including estimating software
  • Experience of working on construction projects, preferably in the water industry
