The key responsibilities of the role include:

  • Administering medication
  • Leading a shift
  • Directing a team of staff with the daily routine
  • Providing one-to-one support and supervision to individuals
  • Aiding all service users in need of assistance
  • Promoting independency to residents with day-to-day decisions
  • Working collaboratively with other staff members and professionals
  • Maintaining accurate records and documentation of interventions and outcomes
