The Role

A Claims Defence Lawyer is sought to manage their own caseload and assist senior fee earners on cases involving local authorities and their insurers.

The caseload will include a mix of pre-litigated and litigated claims, including Highways Law, Occupiers Liability, Employers Liability, and Housing disrepair.

Candidates will have the opportunity to upskill and assist on data breach claims, human rights, and equality act cases, as well as subsidence and flooding cases.

About You

NQ-2pqe candidates with previous claims handling experience and a genuine interest in the area of work are encouraged to apply.

A flexible approach to work and ability to adapt to different tasks are essential.

Experience in defending litigated claims is preferred, but candidates with Claimant litigation experience will also be considered.

Requirements

Excellent knowledge of the CPR and litigation, ability to influence key decision-makers, and strong IT, written, and communication skills are required.
