Transformative Policy Role
Prosper, a leading membership organisation, is seeking a dynamic and experienced Policy Manager to support the delivery of its policy and public affairs plan. As a key member of the team, you will drive policy changes within a membership environment with a commercial focus.
About the Role
You will be responsible for supporting Prosper's research and policy work, embedding its values and reinforcing its reputation for thought leadership. You will communicate effectively and strategically to members, stakeholders, and politicians at a regional, Scottish, UK, and global level, shaping a sustainable and prosperous Scotland.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the development of policy reports, consultation responses, and other policy-related materials
- Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and address policy challenges and opportunities
- Communicate policy information and recommendations to members, stakeholders, and politicians
- Contribute to the development of Prosper's policy and public affairs plan
Requirements
You will be a strategic thinker with experience of driving policy changes within a membership environment with a commercial focus. Time management and the ability to provide judgement and expertise on policy issues are crucial. You will have managed complex stakeholder relationships and worked closely with various partners across Prosper's areas of interest.
