Tax Director

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Private Client Tax Director to join our team at Johnston Carmichael. As a key member of our Private Client Tax team, you will be responsible for managing a diverse portfolio of personal tax clients, ensuring a high-quality tax compliance service and providing high-level technical and tax planning advice to clients.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage client relationships and build on existing relationships with clients and their wider professional network to ensure satisfaction with services provided.
- Provide technical and tax planning advice to clients, working collaboratively with other Directors and Partners as necessary.
- Develop and grow the department and the firm by identifying and progressing opportunities to promote the business in the marketplace, sourcing new opportunities and securing new work.
- Maintain up-to-date technical knowledge of business tax, personal tax, and capital taxes.
- Mentor, train, and support team members, overseeing them in all aspects of the portfolio and ensuring deadlines and demands are met.
