Job Overview

Surrey Downs Health & Care is seeking a highly skilled and experienced District Nurse Team Lead to join our Dorking PCN team on a permanent basis.

Main Duties of the Job

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing leadership within the District Nursing Team, assessing patient needs, and developing, implementing, and evaluating a programme of care within agreed standards.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Facilitating educational programmes for basic, post-basic, and in-service training in close liaison with the Learning and Development Team.
  • Leading and facilitating patient-focused, innovative research-based practice in line with Surrey Downs Health & Care objectives.
  • Managing effectively and efficiently any budget within the remit of this post.
  • Participating in research and development opportunities as appropriate.
  • Providing assistance with the resolution of complaints within the clinical specialty or sphere of responsibility.
