About Our Client:
Our client, a leading provider in their industry, is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Credit Controller to join their dynamic team. As a key member of the finance department, you will play a vital role in ensuring the efficient and accurate management of the company's credit control function.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the purchase invoicing process, including inputting invoices into the company's in-house processing system and tracking them.
- Understand the sales and purchasing invoicing system and generate accurate sales invoices for customers.
- Maintain and reconcile the sales ledgers and manage the invoice financing process.
- Chase and collect outstanding debt.
- Achieve monthly targets for invoice financing and sales ledger debt collection.
- Assist with daily bank reconciliation and month-end reports.
- Perform other ad-hoc duties as required.
Your Skills and Experience:
- Hold or be studying towards an HNC/HND in accounting or business OR an ICM qualification.
- Have previous experience working in a credit controller role.
- Possess strong knowledge of Excel and experience with accounting software such as XERO.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong communication skills.
- Experience of working to strict targets.
