Job Title: Vulnerable Women's Care Midwife

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced and skilled midwife to join our team, providing high-quality care to vulnerable pregnant women. The successful candidate will have a special interest in working with women who have complex needs, including those with learning disabilities, domestic abuse, mental health issues, and safeguarding concerns.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide antenatal and postnatal care to vulnerable women, including those in hospital and community clinics.
  • Develop and maintain effective communication with individuals and groups about complex matters.
  • Contribute to the development of services, promoting best practice in health, safety, and security.
  • Support student midwives and junior staff, promoting their professional development.
  • Participate in regular team meetings, sharing clinical information and supporting colleagues.

Requirements:

  • Registered Midwife (NMC) with 2 years of experience.
  • Excellent communication and time management skills.
  • Strong understanding of clinical governance and quality standards.
  • Ability to work effectively in a management structure.
