Overview:
We are seeking a Quantity Surveyor to join our skilled team in Gloucester, contributing to the EDF Project Controls Resource Framework. This role focuses on the unique and challenging task of defueling and decommissioning the AGR nuclear power station, marking a groundbreaking initiative in the UK. The role offers a hybrid working arrangement, providing flexibility on office days, and requires monthly travel to sites including Sizewell B and Dungeness B. Key Responsibilities:

  1. Assist in the development and implementation of project schedules and budgets.
  2. Conduct cost analysis and prepare valuations and cost/value reconciliations.
  3. Manage contracts, including all relevant contractual forms, budgetary control methods, and relevant software applications.
  4. Collaborate with the project team to identify, analyze, and develop responses to commercial risks.
