Job Description:

  • We are seeking an experienced Senior Waste Consultant to join our team in London. As a key member of our Sustainability and Environment Division, you will play a crucial role in delivering waste management projects across the UK, Europe, and the Middle East.
  • You will lead and manage waste infrastructure projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to high-quality standards.
  • Collaborate with Government departments and stakeholders to deliver successful waste management projects that meet regulatory standards.
  • Provide expert guidance on solid waste management projects, from strategic planning to facility design, with a focus on Waste to Energy, MRF, and MBT.
  • Ensure compliance with UK/EU waste management legislation and global best practices.
  • Prepare and manage complex project programs, contracts, and tender proposals.
  • Mentor and grow the team, driving professional development and organizational performance.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • BSc or BEng in Waste Management, Environmental Science, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
  • 15+ years of experience in engineering and waste management, with at least 3 years in a similar senior role.
  • Proven track record in UK waste management projects.
  • In-depth knowledge of EU/UK Solid Waste Management legislation.
  • Strong experience in planning, design, and monitoring of solid waste systems.
