Cranleigh Scientific Ltd is seeking a skilled HSE Health Specialist to join their team in Kent. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing health, safety, and environmental management systems, ensuring compliance with current legislation and best practices.

EHS Advisor Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and implement health, safety, and environmental management systems, ensuring compliance with current legislation and best practices.
  2. Support the Head of HSE in implementing and maintaining IMS documents and systems.
  3. Implement the long-term HSE management strategy in line with site and corporate standards.
  4. Review and align corporate systems with BRM.
  5. Maintain and carry out the internal audit programme to ensure all work is carried out in accordance with company Policies, Standards, and Procedures.
  6. Be the point of contact for accreditation and certifications, including ISO 9001, 14001, 45001, and 50001.
  7. Host internal and external audit activities and maintain relationships with relevant legislative, certification, and registration bodies.

EHS Advisor Requirements:

  1. Possess a NEBOSH General qualification.
  2. Proven track record of developing and implementing HSE management systems – ISO 9001, 14001, 45001.
  3. Ability to take ownership and accept full accountability for own actions.
  4. Must have a 'can do' attitude with the ability to motivate and develop team stakeholders.
  5. Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to influence and deliver on Health & Safety and Environmental initiatives.
  6. COMAH experience is desirable.

Up to £65k + Bonus + excellent company benefits.
