Charity Governance Specialist

Wintercomfort, a leading advice and support hub for homeless and vulnerably housed people in Cambridge, seeks to appoint a skilled Charity Governance Specialist to its Board of Trustees. This is an exciting opportunity to join an experienced and passionate team that works collaboratively to provide strategic oversight and governance of the charity.

The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of charity governance principles and be able to apply this knowledge to support the effective governing of Wintercomfort. A background in the homelessness sector or experience working with vulnerable populations would be highly desirable.

This is a voluntary, unpaid position for an initial term of 3 years. Reasonable travel expenses can be reimbursed. We estimate the annual salary for this role to be around £25,000 based on the national average for a similar position in the UK.
