About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Business Intelligence Developer to join our Alcumus team. As a crucial part of our Business Intelligence Team, you will play a critical role in the design, development, and maintenance of our global Business Intelligence visualization platform.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and develop engaging, insightful, and innovative dashboards and reports to drive business action from insight.
  • Deliver first-class Business Intelligence reporting solutions to meet customer requirements, through requirements gathering, solution design, testing, and iterative development.
  • Own the Power BI delivery and continual development of our suite of Business Intelligence applications, evolving to meet the needs of our business.
  • Maintain and evolve the Business Intelligence suite for optimal performance, working closely with Data Engineers to develop data warehouse solutions to meet customer requirements.
  • Troubleshoot issues, resolve, and communicate in an efficient and effective fashion.
  • Provide support and expertise to our clients on the optimal use of Power BI.
  • Promote the wider use of data and analytics across the business in line with the vision and values of the Business Intelligence Team.
  • Provide progress reporting and updates across the business through appropriate meetings around BAU and projects.
  • Support other projects as required and work together with the wider Business Intelligence Team and other areas of the business.
  • Continually and proactively identify and deliver improvements in the reporting and visualization process.

Requirements

  • Significant MS Power BI Development Experience (inc. DAX)
  • Excellent Data Visualization skills
  • Experience of data modeling and understanding of data warehousing
  • Experience of Agile working
  • Experience performing root cause analysis on internal and external data and processes
  • Excellent communication skills and stakeholder management
