About the Role:

Ferrero is seeking an experienced Supply Chain Optimization Specialist to join its team. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in evaluating and enhancing the efficiency of our third-party logistics (3PL) partners. Your key responsibilities will include identifying opportunities for optimization to ensure streamlined supply chain operations and implementing cost-effective warehousing and logistics strategies.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Closely monitoring inventory turnover rates and evaluating the efficiency of stock rotation.
  • Collaborating with the Stock Manager and 3PL providers to develop and implement innovative strategies to improve these processes.
  • Overseeing the performance of return flows within our warehouses and scrutinizing the accuracy of order picking processes conducted by the 3PL providers.
  • Analysing order fulfillment data to identify discrepancies or errors and collaborating with the Stock Manager and 3PL teams to rectify these issues and implement corrective actions.
  • Lending your expertise to support the Stock Manager in managing Idocs and aligning stock as needed.
  • Managing and reporting on key performance indicators (KPIs).
Key Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need strong analytical capabilities, including expertise in data analysis tools such as Excel and SQL. A deep understanding of supply chain operations encompassing inventory management, warehousing, transportation, and order fulfillment is also essential. You should be familiar with supply chain terminology and committed to following industry best practices. Outstanding communication skills are crucial for effective teamwork and presenting complex data and strategies in a clear, accessible manner.
