About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Fitness Manager to join our team at our Portsmouth Fratton gym. As a Fitness Manager, you will be responsible for leading our fitness team and ensuring that our members receive the highest level of service and support.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage our fitness team to deliver exceptional customer service and achieve sales targets.
  • Develop and implement fitness programs and services that meet the needs of our members.
  • Monitor and evaluate the performance of our fitness team and make recommendations for improvement.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless delivery of services and achieve business objectives.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures and maintain a safe and healthy work environment.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in a fitness management role, preferably in a gym or leisure center environment.
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with members and colleagues.
  • Ability to work flexibly, including evenings and weekends, to meet the needs of our members.
  • Level 2 qualified Fitness Instructor or equivalent qualification.
