Process and Project Engineer

Just Recruitment is working with a growing manufacturing organisation, based on the outskirts of Sudbury. They are recruiting for an Engineering Process Project Engineer to join their highly skilled and well-regarded engineering department.
The key purpose of this varied role is to assist with Project Managing, Process investigations and hands-on work.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage projects and improvements to enhance manufacturing processes.
- Collaborate with a team to develop the site from a production and site services perspective.
- Work alongside production process engineers to identify and implement process improvements on existing and new production equipment and lines.
- Understand, identify, and implement site services equipment and improvements.
- Conduct investigations into production and site services issues and concerns.
- Be involved in factory and process line layouts.
- Create and update Standard Operating Procedures for engineering tasks and production tasks.
- Hands-on mechanical and/or electrical engineer with experience in AutoCAD or similar engineering drawing packages.
- PLC and SCADA experience is beneficial.
- Must be computer literate and able to use Microsoft Office, particularly with good experience in Excel.
- Must be honest, reliable, and a self-starter able to work alone or as part of a team.
The ideal candidate will be a team player as well as self-motivated. Key attributes will include someone who pays particular attention to detail and who carries out their duties to a high standard with confidence, honesty, and passion.

Working hours are Monday to Friday 8am - 5pm. Free parking is available on site.
