A reputable law firm in the region seeks an experienced Employment Law Specialist to manage a diverse case load with minimal supervision. The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of post-qualification experience.

A well-established and respected private practice law firm providing comprehensive legal services across various disciplines to clients in the south coast and beyond.
The Role
This Employment Law Specialist role will focus primarily on non-contentious work, advising clients on all aspects of employment law and HR matters. Key responsibilities include:
- Providing expert legal advice and assistance to existing clients, while developing a strong client base;
- Working on claimant and respondent matters involving a varied case load;
- Drafting and reviewing a range of documentation, including employment contracts, settlement agreements, and HR policies and procedures;
- Advising clients on a wide range of issues, including termination of employment, avoidance of discrimination claims, and advice relating to potential tribunal claims;
- Guiding employers through collective consultations, redundancy processes, and the TUPE provisions.
The Employment Law Specialist will be a qualified Solicitor or Legal Executive with an excellent understanding of employment law and tribunal procedure, as well as the ability to undertake legal research and stay up-to-date with changes in the law and guidance. The ideal candidate will be well-organized, with strong drafting and negotiation experience, and a strong grounding in all aspects of non-contentious and contentious employment law, with proven PQE experience of advising on complex matters.
Salary dependent upon experience.
