Job Title: Head of Product Development

About the Role:
Hilton Foods is seeking a highly skilled Head of Product Development to lead our site development team in delivering focused products that meet agreed critical paths for our retail partners. As a key member of our team, you will drive pace, change, and world-class working practices to ensure Hilton Foods is the development partner of choice.

Key Responsibilities:
- Liaise with the Insight Manager, Creative Chef, and relevant Commercial Manager to establish the product portfolio for each development season.
- Serve as the senior contact for customer product developers, providing insight and a holistic approach to dealing with all matters.
- Lead quarterly review meetings with retail partners to ensure alignment with our strategic direction.
- Communicate NPD briefs from customers to the wider business, set up and manage projects from ATP documents to feasibility documents.
- Provide timely information to the Product Development and Innovation Director for retailer meetings and presentations.
- Establish world-class status for development of all concepts, backed up by robust systems and procedures that are the lifeblood of the wider team.
- Offer direction, support, mentoring, gravitas, and demonstrate a strong belief in the team's collective ability.

Requirements:
- Proven track record in at least one NPD Management role.
- 3 years in Product Development/Management.
- Experienced in presenting to and building strong relationships with retail Product Developers.
- 5 years in food manufacturing/retailing.
- Graduate-level capability.
- Strong project management skills.
- Ability to quickly adapt to change and manage multiple projects.
- Numerate, analytical, and adept at Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- A full driving license.
