About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Cybersecurity Strategy Manager to join our team at ScottishPower, a leading energy company committed to generating all of its energy from renewable resources. As a key member of our Corporate business, you will lead the definition, implementation, and execution of our UK IT Security Strategy, ensuring that our First Line of Defence is reinforced in our 3 lines of defence model.

In this role, you will report to the UK Director of TPOC (Technology, Platforms, Operations and Cloud) and work closely with various teams, including Risk and Compliance, Cyber's CSIRT, and BISO functions. Your primary focus will be on ensuring security is embedded by default in all IT platform services, with overall accountability for the Security Posture of TPOC's services.

As a seasoned IT Security professional, you will have experience in managing IT security in an organisation of similar scope and scale to ScottishPower. You will possess specialist knowledge of IT Security and IT Security Leadership, as evidenced by relevant industry qualifications such as CISSP or CISM. Your expertise will include developing, recommending, and delivering security risk remediation plans, assessing emerging threats, and identifying associated risk remediation activities.

The successful candidate will enjoy a competitive salary of £72-90K per annum, reviewed annually, plus a range of benefits, including a pension scheme with double matching contributions up to 10%, 36 days annual leave, holiday purchase, and technology vouchers.
