Job Summary

Recruit Mint is seeking a highly skilled Field Service Engineer to join our team in the South West and Midlands areas of the UK. As a Field Service Engineer, you will be responsible for providing maintenance and installation services for specialist packaging equipment used in the food industry.

Main Responsibilities

  • Provide maintenance and installation services for specialist protein-based packaging equipment.
  • Work on a mix of planned and reactive maintenance, with a focus on delivering high-quality services to our clients.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for our clients, providing exceptional customer service and support.
  • Evaluate customer needs and develop solutions to meet their expectations.
  • Troubleshoot and repair equipment, and recommend replacement or upgrade options as needed.
  • Provide detailed instructions and guidance to customers on equipment installation, maintenance, and testing.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in maintaining or servicing process, packaging, or similar equipment is required.
  • Strong mechanical and electrical skills are essential, with knowledge of pneumatic or hydraulic systems a plus.
