About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Lead to join our team at KP Snacks. As a key member of our production line team, you will be responsible for overseeing and delivering defined engineering processes within your area.

Your primary focus will be on reducing machine stoppages and ensuring the correct level of asset care and maintenance strategy is deployed to each equipment item. You will lead and coach the entire area team to deliver true Autonomous Maintenance, reviewing losses within the area, developing action plans, and delivering sustained improvement results.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintenance Planning and Scheduling DMs (Daily Maintenance) for the lines
  • Review of all breakdowns and deployment of appropriate countermeasures to prevent reoccurrence
  • Overseeing Maintenance Planning for your area
  • Providing updates during DDS (Daily Direction Setting meeting) to review breakdowns and Maintenance plans from the last 24 hours
  • Preparing and leading the scheduling of maintenance work for the next week during the weekly maintenance meeting
  • Working with other Maintenance Leads to support the Progressive Maintenance (PM) Pillar by updating key KPIs and attending Pillar meetings
  • Preparing schedules for monthly maintenance work as dictated by the annual maintenance plan and as previously identified during the monthly meeting
  • Assisting the Autonomous Maintenance (AM) Pillar by building capability within our daily management systems

Requirements
  • A minimum level 3 electrical qualification with hands-on experience
  • HNC/HND or Degree in an Engineering discipline (ideally with an electrical bias)
  • Previously worked with a TPM/RCM maintenance environment
  • Proven strong engineering and problem-solving skills
  • Experience of utilising Lean tools and techniques
  • Previous coaching experience
