About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Locum Consultant Cardiologist to join our expanding team at Airedale NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our cardiology service, you will be responsible for providing a comprehensive general cardiology service to our patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide expert clinical care to patients with cardiac conditions
  • Develop and implement treatment plans in collaboration with other healthcare professionals
  • Contribute to the development of our cardiology service, including the development of new sub-specialties
  • Participate in teaching and training of medical students and junior doctors
Requirements
  • MBChB or equivalent medical qualification
  • MRCP UK or equivalent
  • Entry on the General Medical Council (GMC) Specialist Register
  • Depth and breadth of clinical experience in Cardiology and General Medicine
  • A special interest that will complement those existing in the department
Desirable Qualifications and Experience
  • An appropriate higher degree or qualification (MD, PhD or equivalent)
  • Experience at locum or substantive consultant level
  • Postgraduate qualification in medical teaching
